Children's activities centres
Bhoomika Trust in collaboration with Center for Child Rights and Development (CCRD) constructed three children's activities centres in November 2005 in Perunthuravu village (Kancheepuram district), Koonimedu (Villipuram district) and Panithittu (Pondicherry).

The children's activities centres are semi-pucca shelters and are used for recreational and creative activities, supplemental educational help and counselling services for about two hundred and fifty children.

Exposure visit
Towards the end of a life skills programme for tsunami affected children in Srinivasapuram, Bhoomika Trust provided support to Sneha for taking these children on an exposure visit to Snow World at Chennai in July 2006. Sneha's life skills programme was held for ninety children in classes VI to IX over a period of six months.

Deepavali Celebrations
Bhoomika provided funds towards purchase of sweets, breakfast, new clothes and crackers on the occasion of Diwali for seventy children belonging to Vanavil's school for Aadiyan children in Nagapattinam.

Parents meeting and Christmas celebrations
In December 2006, Bhoomika Trust supported parents meeting and Christmas celebrations organized by Loyola College for two hundred and three tsunami affected children at Srinivasapuram, Chennai. Sweets and gifts were given to the children and the event offered an opportunity for these children to exhibit their talents through a cultural programme outlining social issues that they encounter in their daily life.
