Children's activities support
To create learning opportunities and improve the atmosphere to benefit over four hundred children in three police boys clubs, three girls clubs, five Integrated Child Development Services centres and three Child Development centres located in tsunami affected areas of Chennai, Bhoomika Trust provided them with educational, sports and gym material, cultural equipment, books and furniture.

Health support
Bhoomika Trust is supporting the running of a Holistic Rural Community Health Centre, operating out of Kovalam, catering to villages in the Thiruporur Block of Kanchipuram District. The Holistic Health Centre at Kovalam, an area affected by the tsunami provides both basic general and mental health care. These services provide vital life saving health care for the 6,000 strong population of Kovalam Panchayat within a 10 kilometre distance around the health centre and reach out to the 20,000 people in the surrounding villages.

Habitat restoration
