Looking ahead
Just as we mobilized resources in a massive fashion in the wake of the earthquake and the tsunami, we stand ready to reach out to victims of natural as well as man-made disasters in the future, which, unfortunately strike our nation all too frequently. But our heart continues to be in the area of providing educational assistance to underprivileged students, which we believe is a highly leveragable way of giving back to society by helping create caring citizens and socially-conscious leaders of the future.
In the pipeline...
We are also creating a model of fellowships to social workers/ social entrepreneurs that will allow individuals to work on specific development areas that they are passionate about, which they might otherwise be unable to pursue. We hope to launch this program shortly in conjunction with NGOs and NRI organizations. |
